Through Passover 19 CE and the End of
the Gospels
-
A Study in Progress:
(Therefore, please forgive me for any errors, whether
words remaining from past thinking and not yet corrected or thoughts of mine
that are still suffering from being in error until somehow I am given
additional rays of light!)
These are the three parts of this Synopsis:
a. Part I:
The early years of
Yeshua’s life until the beginning of his four years of ministry.
b. Part
II: The first two years of Yeshua’s
ministry, Passover 15 CE until Passover 17 CE.
c. Part
III: The last two years of Yeshua’s
ministry, Passover 17 CE through Passover 19 CE and the end of the Gospels.
d. More
details, re all the events associated with the 19 CE Passover, are found in this table.
Abstract:
The synopsis below was created initially with a focus towards identifying
and to fit together the pieces of the chronological puzzle pertaining to the
time period between the Passovers of 16 CE and 17 CE. Among the discoveries
that I made, while creating this synopsis initially, are those that are listed at the beginning of
this Dated Synopsis of the Four Gospels…

[3] Considering Yeshua’s contention re proper timing, I
find it likely that someone, likely Yeshua himself, had been able to observe
the Tue April 19, 18 CE New Moon (in spite of only 1.05% illumination at
moonset! Lag: 53 min 20 sec.) I find support for this interpretation of mine
also in Yeshua’s hint to that effect, that is, as inherent in the three
references to “18” on the Seventh Day Sabbath of Aviv 18, 18 CE referenced in
Luke 13:4, 11, 16. That is, as reckoned by Yeshua and by Luke. To the
hierarchy, the official date of that Shabbat would have been Aviv 17 [beginning
at sunset Fri April 22, 18 CE.]
[4] Cf. Footnote #2.
[5] Cf. footnote #3!
[6] Considering the crowd being referenced in Luke 11:29
and in 12:1, and also the dinner invitation of the Pharisee referenced in Luke
11:37, I find it likely that Yeshua spoke the words recorded in these passages
in the eve of Aviv 16 (Yeshua’s scriptural reckoning,) which would have been
the eve of Aviv 15 of the Pharisees and of the crowd alike.
[7] Cf. Footnote #3.
[8] Notice Yeshua’s way of twice referencing Day 4, Day 5, and Day 6, of the week in terms of work days prior to the Seventh Day Shabbat! [I.e. Tue-Fri sunsets, Apr 26-29, 18 CE.] Cf. Luke 13:32-33!
[9] Cf. Footnote #3.
[10] Notice Luke’s reference in two separate records of
Yeshua’s dining at a Pharisee’s house, Luke 11:37-54 and Luke 14:1-24! Could
this Pharisee be one and the same man? Perhaps even Luke himself, the author of
this record???
[11] Please cf. this
link! Also please notice Yeshua’s choice of referencing an ox, that is, the
letter alef, meaning also number One! Cf. Luke 14:5!
[12] Perhaps some may question my dating of these sayings
of Yeshua, but it seems to me as though they are all teaching things pertaining
to reckoning, as in the Counting of the Omer, and triggered by one particular
mindset initiated by those particular circumstances at that time and place.
[13] SNB Jun 3, 18 CE sunset:
18:36:33; moonset: 19:58:56; lag: 82 min 23 sec; Illum.: 2.26% è Sivan 1 began Jun 3, 18
CE. è Sunset Fri Jun 10, 18 CE was the beginning of Sivan 8.
[14] Notice carefully Yeshua’s reference to two different
ways of reckoning time, that is, God’s own reckoning of the feast days (Tishri
15=began Sun Oct 24 (or Mon 25,)
17 CE Thu Oct 13, 18 CE) vs. that of the Jews (Tishri 15=began at sunset Wed Oct 27, 17 CE Fri Oct 14, 18 CE!)
Now suppose this John 7:3-9 conversation took place on Sabbath
(beginning Fri Oct 7, 18
CE,) or the evening hours following the
Shabbat, which I find likely, wouldn’t Yeshua be likely to wish to observe the
Scriptural Day of At-One-Meant that began at that time?!!
[15] Option I has been made
obsolete per my [Jan 2013] revised edition of
my Luke 7:37 translation. It read as follows: “Option
I: The Jews’ Seventh Day of the Feast of Tabernacles Began sunset Thu Oct
20, 18 CE.”
