John

And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. It
looks to me as though Yeshua first headed for the best vantage point on Mt.

him. As a way of blowing the shofar of the New Moon, Yeshua subsequently “cried with a loud voice, Lazarus,
come forth!” More… Psalms 81:3 KJV

Mary anoints
Yeshua’s head at the house of Simon the leper, who had been cured from his
leprosy by Yeshua, and Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, sells Yeshua into the
jurisdiction of the State. Cf. Luke 19:45-46, 20:1-18, 19-20, 22:1-6, which
text passages indicate that Judas covenanted with the “chief priests and
captains” after the two events in the temple, i.e. cleansing the
temple and being confronted by the chief priests, and certainly not at the
supper before these events. [One
or two anointments?: Some may question whether there was indeed a second
anointing of Yeshua on Monday night. But upon reading
first Luke
19:45-46, 20:1-18, 19-20, 22:1-6, then Matthew 26:1-7, 14 it seems to me
quite clear that this the anointing of Matthew 26:7 took
place on Monday night and not at the time of the supper on Thursday night,
Aviv 10. Indeed, there are many similarities, but there are also certain
differences, between the accounts of these events as recorded by the authors
of the gospels. [Colt dependent] ] |

mayest eat the passover?” Mark 14:12. “Now the first day of the feast of
unleavened bread the
disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for
thee to eat the passover? 18 And he said… My time is at hand; I
will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.
19 And the
disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.” Matthew 26:17-19. Per the calendar of the Jews (the beginning of Nisan 14:) “Now before
the feast of the passover… 2 And supper being ended, the devil having
now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son,
to betray him… 3 Jesus… 4… riseth from supper, and laid aside his

Friday; “an eighth day of the Jews” |
May 19 |
Aviv 23 8 |
Day Six 4 |
Aviv 24 7 |
Traditionally,
the Jewish calendar begins the 50 day reckoning of Omer (towards Pentecost) from
the 2nd day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, Nissan 16. In consequence of
that reckoning, the 8th Day of the Reckoning of Omer, per the Jewish Calendar
will always fall on Nissan 23. It follows that the words of John 20:26,
“μεθ ημερας
οκτω,” literally meaning “after Day Eight,” given John’s
general reference to the calendar and reckoning “of the Jews,” are pointing
to the evening following Nissan/Abib 23 of the Jewish calendar. In 19 CE, the
year of the crucifixion of Yeshu, those words would then point to Sabbath
evening, beginning at sunset Friday, May 19, 19 CE. And doesn’t it make a lot
of sense for Yeshu to make a point of meeting his disciples at the beginning
of the Seventh Day Sabbath, the day given to man in commemoration of the
Creator, our Redeemer and our Savior. That is, the loving Father whom Yeshu
is constantly identifying with. Accordingly, the translation “after eight days”
(KJV,) is certainly an error in translation. Compare also the seventh day of
the Feast of Tabernacles, which day is not traditionally considered a special
Feast Day proclaimed by the Lord such as is the subsequent Eighth Day,
Shemini HaAzeret (which day follows upon, i.e. after, the Feast of
Tabernacles.) The Scriptures are nowhere providing any instructions for celebrating
an eight day following upon the Seventh Day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread!
On the contrary, the Feast of Unleavened Bread is preceded by Passover Day
proper, sometimes called the Preparation of the Passover. I believe this is
to make us aware of some important distinctions between the spring and the
fall feasts of our Creator! There is the end of a cycle, a full year, and the
beginning of the next. That full year, just the same as any 24 hour day
should have one beginning and one end, not two! In contradistinction, the 12
hours of the day in antiquity were always reckoned from sunrise through
sunset. Likewise, the seven months of the year in antiquity comprised the
agriculturally active months, from spring to fall, seven months in all,
perhaps, at an early age, not even reckoning the months in the winter at all. |

behind the traditional translation “after eight days.”) “John 20:26 TLT: And after Day Eight [of the Jews’ Counting
of Omer, i.e. after sunset at the beginning of the Jews’ Abib 24,] again his
disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being

Zif 28[5] 40 |
A total
solar eclipse, darkening the sky and making the stars visible, along a
narrow path of land from one end of the Roman Empire to the other. The
language of Matthew 27:45; Mark 15:33; and Luke 23:44 per the best available
manuscripts (Textus Receptus & Shem Tov’s Hebrew Matthew) seem to
indicate that the local events at Jerusalem on May 12, as experienced and
reported by the eyewitnesses behind said Gospels, were somehow being mixed up
with this solar eclipse event and the date thereof as reported most likely
primarily in the Latin language, but with translations also into Greek and Hebrew.
Cf. Luke 23:38: Luke 23:38 KJV And a superscription
also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS
THE KING OF THE JEWS. More... & more… Cf. also this brief PowerPoint presentation re this

the numbers 37 and 40!: The 40th day of Omer and the 37th day of Yeshua

unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your

The day of Pentecost,
concluding the 50 day count. (Cf. also the 40 days
of Acts 1:3.) The outpouring of the Holy Ghost at the 3rd hour and Peter and
John at the temple at the 9th hour of prayer[7] (Acts
2:1-4:4; hour ref.: Acts 2:15; 3:1.) Notice that this is a counting of
days or “hots” (Hebr. “יום”
meaning “hot,”) not necessarily including the preceding dark and cool portion
of any 24 hour period, as indicated by the timing of the Waving of the Sheaf
sacrifice marking the beginning of these 50 days. If the corresponding year of
Jubilee is being concluded by the first 21 days of the 7th Moon at the end of
a Sabbath year, isn’t that a perfect timing for a perfected return of equity
ownership to the party originally granted title to the land by the Creator?
Cf. Leviticus 25:10! That is, an
allodial ownership under none but the Creator alone! Notice also that the 1st day of
Omer, the initiating event being the Omer sacrifice, the Waving of the Sheaf,
in the morning of a weekly Shabbat, counts as an accession period.
Accordingly the first full Shabbat cannot be included in the count of seven
Shabbats. Accordingly the Day of Pentecost is also the 7th Shabbat and the
49th full 24 hour period in the count of Omer. These observations also
have implications upon which year is a Sabbath year, i.e. the year being
concluded by the Seventh Moon OR the year beginning by the Eight Day Festival
and the subsequent Eighth Moon. Notice that the beginning of the
Eighth Day is marked by the setting of the sun, by the setting of the moon,
and by the dark and cold portion of the year! Cf. Genesis 1:14. Is there a
more consistent way of reckoning the beginning of each year? |
