Happy Sabbath to you Judith, may enjoy today's worship
Blessed Sabbath Judith.
Happy Sabbath to you as well. You came to mind as I was praying last night. I pray all is well.
Thanks Sis. Colleen. I have to work today and next Sabbath as well,so I'm not too happy about that,it seems things have once again gone back as before with problems in the roster, you only get to church when you are on the night shift(and even then you get to church late,as you have left work the morning, but even if I'm tired and I know I'll be there late I still go to church)even those who go to church on Sundays are having the same problem. In case you may not know what I do,I work in a children home, with children ages 3-11yrs,it's a very stressful job,but I love it,and have been working for 27yrs.Please keep me and the wards there in your prayers, but apart from that, all is well Praise God.Have a blessed day.
I will keep you and your wards in prayer and the issues with the roster. I pray your health has improved also.
Thanks Sis. Colleen for your prayers.Yes my health has improved, thanks to God.The Pastor and elders prayed for and anointed me on my birthday in February, after Divine hour on that Sabbath,so all is well.God has answered pray,He's an Awesome God.Do have a blessed week.
Will keep you in our prayers Judith. You are doing a great job of feeding the lambs.
Hi Judith, not to worry about caring for the children on a Sabbath. See yourself as their parent and 'minister' to them. The Lord will bless you.
Amen and Happy Sabbath.
He showered us indeed. Have a blessed week.
A happy Sabbath to you all family. Brother Santos, we praise God for your pulling out a very important lesson hidden in this chapter. I am impressed with the way God inspired the author of this book, like all others, on the flow of the lessons without any dissonance: From the lesson of order in chapter 23, to this work of unity that factors in equality and value of all serving God in a rotation manner. Hmmm, sounds to me like where we got the idea of shift work. 24 divided shifts for these priests and Levites. It is a bit vague after this how often these shifts rotated for these Levites/direct descendants of Aaron, but Zachariah, who was in the priesthood around the time of Jesus' birth was on a shift by the alter of incense when he got Gabriel's message of the gift of a son, John the baptist.
We at times fear large numbers, associating them to confusion, and yet in Christ's Priesthood, where we belong, more or less numbers should not cause any discord at all because our Leader has it all figured out for us. He wants everyone on board to feel valued and used to their maximum potential. In Him, there is neither Jew nor Gentile, bond or free, male or female, we are all one in Christ (Galatians 3:28). Hence, brothers and sisters, no human distinctions should be found if we are in Christ: the youths should be recognized and exposed to duties, they are the "Aaron Priesthood of tomorrow." Equally, the old are a source of wisdom and resource. The world may say gray hair is simply a sign of aging, the Word of God nevertheless says it is a sign of wisdom though (Proverbs :16:31). The middle aged and all children in God's fold equally should be participative. Zeal for The Lord in God's church is there but the devil will cause suppressions in the growth of the work as we narrow our vision of who should constitute "the modern priesthood." Hence where possible, may the Lord use all of us in breaking any walls of partitions as we labor for Him.This is a crucial time in history when working as one unit or body is so imperative: "Our coming Lord is at the door."
Dear Lord, you alone redeemed us by your blood, justify us now by your righteousness and regenerate us by your spirit, so we can fluidly blend and value one another as long as the hours of labor last. Amen.
Amen

Happy Sabbath to you also
Here we see a similarity the earthly priestly were divided into twenty four ..Before the throne in heaven ministers twenty and four elders who are before the throne day and night. .Our elder brother stands before this throne to plead with His blood on our behalf .Aaron also
ministered in the earthly as one of us .Thus we see order working here Have this sabbath blessings
Amen!
Amen, I hope your Sabbath was a blast.
Amen. Our God is the God of order
Thank you brother Santos for the edification in today's blog. Happy Sabbath morning blessed of my father, sister Ruth talked about the orderliness of our father yesterday, and we still find the same order of things in today's lesson. God was and he is still the God of order ; each one of us must know and keep his or her own place of work in the vineyard Paul says this; Romans 12:4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: 1chron:5, the lot was cas publicly, in the presence of kings and priests, that they might be no room for suspicions. May God bless us as we continue to follow in his foot steps.
Amen! It is amazing that when duties were assigned, the student accompanied the teacher. "And they cast lots for their duty, the small as well as the great, the teacher with the student" (vs. 8). Those in training were not to do as they thought was right, but were to learn from the teachers. Today, we are to learn from our faithful teachers, those who travelled before we assume leadership. May God grant us wisdom to do do. Have a happy Sabbath Sis. Harriet.
Amen Danny and happy sabbath to you
Amen.
Amen Harriet
The duties of the sanctuary service were shared out between
the Levite families. Every priest had a role to play. In the New Testament
church, the duties are to be shared out to every member for all of us are
called to be priests. As a church who believes in the priesthood of all
believers, it is sad to see and hear about racism, sexism and class
distinctions still have an influence on how the duties are shared out. When the
church fully embraces the concept of priesthood of all believers, and then
releases members into their ministries, The Holy Spirit will do a mighty work
and God’s kingdom will be ushered more quickly.
Amen my brother
