“The third-oldest sister of Ellen White, Mary married Samuel Foss, a farmer, in 1842. They settled in Poland, Maine, and later West Minot, Maine. Samuel's brother, Hazen Little Foss, on hearing Ellen relate her early visions in 1845, disclosed that he had received almost identical visions but had refused to relate them publicly, for which he felt condemned. Soon after Ellen received her first vision in December 1844, Mary invited Ellen to visit her in Poland, Maine. While there, as Ellen recalled it in 1890, Mary “asked me to go” to a Millerite meeting at Megquier’s Hill. This suggests that Mary, like several others in the Harmon family, was a part of the Millerite Adventist movement in the mid-1840s.” [1EGWLM, 828.5-6]

“It was not long after the passing of the time in 1844, that my first vision was given me. I was visiting Mrs. Haines at Portland, a dear sister in Christ, whose heart was knit with mine; five of us, all women, were kneeling quietly at the family altar. While we were praying, the power of God came upon me as I had never felt it before. I seemed to be surrounded with light, and to be rising higher and higher from the earth. I turned to look for the advent people in the world, but could not find them, when a voice said to me, “Look again, and look a little higher.” At this I raised my eyes, and saw a straight and narrow path, cast up high above the world. On this path the advent people were traveling to the city which was at the farther end of the path. They had a bright light set up behind them at the beginning of the path, which an angel told me was the “midnight cry.” This light shone all along the path, and gave light for their feet, so that they might not stumble.” [LS 64.1-2]

“Hazen Foss… decided he would not relate the visions. The people had assembled to hear him, but he refused… The first vision given to me [Ellen] while in Portland, Maine, was right after this decision. I had three visions… At this time… Mr. Foss came to our house in Portland in a sleigh… As I could not bear the cold air, I sat in the bottom of the sleigh with the buffalo robe over my head. I had not spoken in a loud voice for some time. After I arrived at Poland, you said that there was to be a meeting at Megquier’s Hill and asked me to go. I went with you and your husband. § 3^rd: The Family event when James and Ellen joined hands in marriage and laid the foundation for their family. – Aug 30, 1846.

· Notice, please, the parallels between ‘steam-liquid-solids… planting the seed’, and between ‘dreams-dialogue-covenanting for marriage… conceiving children’!

§ 4^th: James & Ellen accepts the Seventh Day Sabbath – September 1846

“a Seventh Day Baptist, Rachel Oakes, who distributed tracts setting forth the binding claims of the fourth commandment. Some in 1844 saw and accepted this Bible truth. One of their number, William Farnsworth, in a Sunday morning service, stood to his feet and declared that he intended to keep God's Sabbath of the fourth commandment. A dozen others joined him, taking their stand firmly on all of God's commandments. They were the first Seventh-day Adventists.The minister who cared for this church group, Frederick Wheeler, soon accepted the seventh-day Sabbath and was the first Adventist minister to do so. Another of the Advent preachers, T. M. Preble, who lived in the same state, accepted the Sabbath truth and in February, 1845, published an article in the Hope of Israel, one of the Adventist journals, setting forth the binding claims of the fourth commandment. Joseph Bates, a prominent Adventist minister residing in Fairhaven, Massachusetts, read the Preble article and accepted the Seventh-day Sabbath. Shortly thereafter, Elder Bates journeyed to Washington, New Hampshire, to study this new-found truth with the Sabbathkeeping Adventists residing there. When he returned to his home, he was fully convinced of the Sabbath truth. Bates in time determined to publish a tract setting forth the binding claims of the fourth commandment. His 48-page Sabbath pamphlet was published in August, 1846. A copy of it came to the hands of James and Ellen White at about the time of their marriage in late August. From the scriptural evidence therein presented, they accepted, and began to keep the seventh-day Sabbath. Of this Ellen White later wrote: “In the autumn of 1846 we began to observe the Bible Sabbath, and to teach and defend it.”

· Notice please, “seasons” (Hebr.: ‘moadim’) meaning the Creator’s Sabbaths as further defined in Lev 23, including also the 8 special annual Sabbaths!

§ 5^th: James & Ellen are being faced by the challenge of comprehending the differences between registering a name of theirs with the State, and between retaining a name under the ownership of the Creator God alone…

· First challenge, re people’s unwillingness to give their gifts in the name of a living man, James White, in charge of running the publishing house;

· Second challenge, re the naming of a son of theirs who remained as ‘the nameless little one’ until after his death at the age of four months…

· Third challenge, What is true Sovereignty, under none but God alone? 1 Pet 2:9

· Fourth challenge, What is the difference between a Son or Daughter of God, and between ‘chattel’ or ‘sheeple’? What can we discover re this in the Bible? Gen 1:29, 30, vs. Black’s Law Dictionary!

· Fifth challenge, Why are we registering our churches – and our church members – under the proprietorship of the State? Why more and more so, rather than less?

· Sixth challenge, Why is the Pope wearing the fish hat of the idol Dagon? As mirrored also in the similar hat of Santa Claus? Are we behaving as fish controlled under Maritime Law, as defined by popery?

§ 6^th: A path of learning to walk under God’s love and guidance along the Way towards Heaven (Hebr.: ‘names’; masc. pl.), a path progressing from crawling, to creeping, like serpents-cattle-chattel-sheeple (Gen 1:28), towards walking upright like a true sovereign Son or Daughter of God, while…

- “In answer to the question, "How long shall be the vision concerning the continual burnt-offering, and the transgression that maketh desolate, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?" the answer was returned, "Unto two thousand and three hundred evenings and mornings; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed" (Dan 8:13-14). Whatever may be the prophetic significance of the passage its astronomical significance is clear: 840,057 days are precisely 2,300 solar years, or 28,447 lunar months, or 30,487 anomalistic months, the anomalistic month being the period in which the moon travels from perigee to perigee. It is the most perfect lunisolar cycle known, and restores the two great lights exactly to their former relationship. Consider the inherent meaning of the name and idem sonare ‘Washing-town 600’ [D=500 + C=100 = 600]. That is, in re to any stain of ‘guano’ within your own life and actions, as in the Mark of the Beast, commonly understood as 666! (Cf. below!)

Consider also the inherent meaning of the word and idem sonare ‘I-land’ As in ‘Guano Island’ (See below!) – Also in terms of the brain as surrounded by water within the scull!

10. Is Procopius’ date correctly placed relative to the Gregorian Calendar?

Attempting to confirm the placement of Justinian’s 10^th year of reign in 536 AD (Julian/Gregorian Calendar)…:

Absent any recorded observation of astronomical events within the reign of Justinian (cf. the eclipse maps below), the best I’ve available thus far is Wikipedia’s correlation between “AD 691” and “the year six thousand one hundred and ninety [AM 6190]”. 691-536=165 years from Justinian’s 10^th year until the earliest available document of the Byzantine Calendar being used. Accordingly, Justinian’s 10^th year of reign in terms of the Byzantine Calendar should be AM 6190 - 165 yrs = AM 6025. Per Wikipedia said 165 years covers the eleven Byzantine regents from Justinian I the Great through Justinian II “the slit-nosed”. If each of those eleven reigns are correctly referenced and placed relative to one another, relative to said Byzantine Calendar, relative to the list of Roman Consuls, and if said Byzantine Calendar is correctly placed relative to the Gregorian Calendar… Well, to that extent Justinian’s 10^th year should be correctly placed in 536 AC per Gregorian Calendar. Personally, I may find that plausible, but certainly not confirmed.

”The calendar was based on the Julian calendar, except that the year started on 1 September and the year number used an Anno Mundi epoch derived from the Septuagint version of the Bible. It placed the date of creation at 5509 years before the incarnation of Jesus, and was characterized by a certain tendency that had already been a tradition among Jews and early Christians to number the years from the calculated foundation of the world (Latin: Annus Mundi or Ab Origine Mundi— "AM").[note 5] Its Year One, marking the supposed date of creation, was September 1, 5509 BC, to August 31, 5508 BC. Attempting to find astronomical correlations between Justinian’s reign and astronomy in the form of recorded observations… Thus far, I’ve found nothing!:

In the three maps below you’ll find the paths of all total, annular, and hybrid solar eclipses from 521 CE – 580 CE, thus covering all of the years that Emperor Justinian reigned. Unfortunately, I do not find any record of any eclipse observation during the reign of Justinian.
