Amen Pastor Mwanza! :-) Nehemiah 8:8 really arrested my attention today. Lord, as one whom you have called to teach and even preach betimes, please like you did Nehemiah help me to teach the unadulterated pure word "distinct ly" so that thy people will catch the "sense" and understand in spirit and in truth. I humbly ask this in thy name today and hereafter, amen.
Thank you Pastor for your blog,my prayer is for all of us to completely surrender our all to our SAVIOUR so that by HIS GRACE the work or revival and reformation will truly start with us.
I am glad that Israel is back to reading and following God's Word. When we choose to read and abide by God's word. We will never be lost. But ignoring God's word brings spiritual darkness upon us. God bless you all
Good afternoon, Family! Please check out this poll I am taking for tonight's program on www.adventhoperadio.org. http://apps.facebook.com/answe... Listen tonight at 5:30pm MT for RBHW Live discussion!
Praise the Lord for todays comment from Pastor Pardon
I pray that the Lord will grant me improve vision so I can spend more time in his word.
This afternoon I will be travelling to New York and is hoping to attend some of the meetings be held there.I
Understand that over1000 persons have been baptised sinced the commencement of the meetings last
Friday. Let us pray that the Holy Spirit will be poured out on each worker, and that many of our brothers
and sisters who have left the church for one reason or the other will recommit to Jesus.
Dear Lord, Revive thy work, I pray in Jesus name.
Flo
amen
Thank you Pastor Pardon once again. The best thing that I ever did this year was to join this study. Am blest every day. I pray that I can read every day even if I can't comment. I believe that when God's word fills my heart I will be able to pass it to my child. As I fall more in love with God's word I would love him to do the same. I pray that the first choice on my to do list each day is my own heart_filling, soul_refreshing, strength _producing time with my bible. Be blest as we study together
Amen.
Amen

Can anyone shed some light on verse 10 "eat the fat" when in Leviticus 3:17 it says "you shall eat neither fat nor blood." I would appreciate some insight into this as I'm a little confused.
Animal fats were prohibited, but plant based fats were not.
Leviticus makes this clear:
Leviticus 7:23-25
King James Version (KJV)
23 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Ye shall eat no manner of fat, of ox, or of sheep, or of goat.
24 And
the fat of the beast that dieth of itself, and the fat of that which is
torn with beasts, may be used in any other use: but ye shall in no wise
eat of it.
25 For whosoever eateth the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord, even the soul that eateth it shall be cut off from his people.
Again, one of the divinely promised blessings of the promised land was the oil-producing olives that grew there:
Deuteronomy 8:7-9
King James Version (KJV)
7 For the Lord
thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of
fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;
8 A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey;
9 A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not
lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose
hills thou mayest dig brass.
There are lots more verses like these!
I would like propose an alternative theory that is Nehemiah was not talking about fat as we think of it (ie. the fat an animal). The Hebrew word that Nehemiah Used and translated as "fat" is the word masmannim which means choice food, delicate rich, festive, i.e., fod which is tasty and satisfying. Meanwhile, God through his servant Mosaes in Lev. 7:23-25 does condemn the eating of animal fat. The Hebrew that Moses used to describe animal fat was heleb which is completely different from the word that Nehemiah used which was masmannim.
In short, Nehemiah was talking about consuming animal fat , but he was talking about eating of the best food. This passge does support being a veggie. I have been one for 30 years.
Thank you! That makes sense!
Amen Bro David well explained ..Thankyou and God bless you..i became a vegetarian 45 years ago ..andhave been very blessed by doing this..
Amen and Amen

Dear RBHW FAMILY. I have blessed your reading the Word of God along with the blogs and posts.i started this journey about five or sixt months ago and I look forward to this experience each day. Today I will be going for my "prep" appointment, and there I will be told when will the procedure be. While I am a little nervous, deep down I believe that everything is going to be all right. The people were encouraged by the leadership (Nehemiah) to obey God and in turn they also encouraged the religious leaders (Ezra) to read and explain the Bible to them.

Amen Pastor Mwanza! There was great joy in Israel when everyone listen/understood and obeyed the word of the Lord. It is a deception of Satan that obeying the law of God is hard and that it is easier to sin! God yearns to give us His peace. John 14:17 "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
"Yet do not therefore conclude that the upward path is the hard and the downward road the easy way. All along the road that leads to death there are pains and penalties, there are sorrows and disappointments, there are warnings not to go on. God's love has made it hard for the heedless and headstrong to destroy themselves. It is true that Satan's path is made to appear attractive, but it is all a deception; in the way of evil there are bitter remorse and cankering care. We may think it pleasant to follow pride and worldly ambition, but the end is pain and sorrow. Selfish plans may present flattering promises and hold out the hope of enjoyment, but we shall find that our happiness is poisoned and our life embittered by hopes that center in self. In the downward road the gateway may be bright with flowers, but thorns are in the path. The light of hope which shines from its entrance fades into the darkness of despair, and the soul who follows that path descends into the shadows of unending night.

Powerful message am privileged to read it and be blessed thanks for taking time to share
Good morning my RBHW family. Thank you Pastor Pardon for your comments. I long for the day when we will hear less sermonizing and spend more time reading the Word of God as it is written. Our people will find it a blessing to hear the Word and understand the directions and Will of God for their life than having a sermon preached top them. Gone are the days when Seventh-day Adventists were known for Readers of the Bible. May God help us to return to basics and let Him write the things that are important for our relationship with Him on the tables of our hearts. have a spirit filled day.
True indeed. Amen
