I was particularly touched by verse 27 when it says "Praise be to the Lord, the God of our ancestors, who has put it into the king’s heartb to bring honor to the house of the Lord in Jerusalem in this way". We can do all the types of evangelism and crusades, but only the God of heaven can enter and speak to the hearts of His people.

May I just share the grace and the spirit of the Lord I witnessed last week. I brought my 3 cousins (all boys ages 13-15) to a LIFECAMP last week without any intention of having them baptized after the camp. My motive was just to instill awareness on the Adventist lifestyle since I am the only Adventist in the family. But on a Friday night, my friend told me to prepare myself because I would start doing bible studies with my cousins to prepare them for baptism. I chuckled because I knew that they are just teenagers and they are just there for the sake of fun. However, the next morning (which was sabbath), one of my cousin approached me and said "Ate (or big sister), I think I want to be become an Adventist. How do I keep the Sabbath?. I was so surprised and filled with gladness as he unfold all his questions about what can he do and not do on a sabbath, without ever questioning that Saturday is the Lord's seventh day. Then after a brief explanation to him, he said "Ate (or big sister), it will be two of us [adventist] in the family now". So I prayed with him and I cried because I know he didint just "think" of it out of the blue. I know it was the Holy Sprit that touched his heart.

He still has a lot of questions but I know God will answer each one of them personally and at His own time - as He did to me. But I am so happy because he send me a private message on FBthis Monday and he said he was excited to spend his first sabbath tomorrow. I hope the church we are going to visit will welcome him warmly and the other cousin of ours he would tagged along. To my RBHW family, please pray with me that the Holy Spirit of God will be with these two boys and may the devil fail to distract them and snatch them from the fire of the Holy Spirit. Also pray with me that his parents will be supportive should this child decided to follow Jesus and embrace our faith.. Happy preparation day to all you from Quezon City Philippines!!

The letter of king Artaxerxes to Ezra is amazing, though he was not a Jew but he recognised that his greatness belong to the Lord, his eyes is open to see all the glory of the GOD, and responded to His glory... Sometimes we forgot that what ever we have is belong to the Lord and we failed to spread the goodness that He shared to us. Sometimes we're like Israelites while they were walking in the wilderness felt uneasy and unsatisfied. I do believe in my heart that reading and obeying the Law of God with love leads us to be satisfied His greatness.
