We see Esther taking a leap of Faith for her people trusting God.She was ready for anything because she knew the consequences of appearing at the King without being called.But she couldnt be silent and see her people perish instead she goes ahead and asks the Jews to fast because she needed the prayers and support of those she loved.They were all together in one accord calling the name of the Lord for deliverance from the hands of the enemy Haman.She takes a bold step and say if she perishes she perishes.Could it be that God has placed us where we are at this moment for such a time like this? Are we silent when we see our bretheren being persecuted due to their Faith? Do we stand up for our Faith even if it means loosing something valuable to us?Are we bold enough like Esther and take that step of Faith even when its against the law?May God help us today to claim 2Tim 1:7 God has not given us a spirit of fear,but of Power Love and Sound mind. Also may we boldly say " the Lord is my helper,I will not fear" Heb13:6. What can man do to me" also God says to us "Do not fear" several times in the bible.May he give us the courage to face our fears and empower us to make the right choices like Esther.May we not compromise what we believe for fear of rejection or dissaproval from others because God says in Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not for I am with you,be not dismayed for I am your God.I will strengthen you ,yes I will help you.I will uphod you with My righteous right hand".Be blessed family as we wait for the second coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

God's time table - It always helps our understanding of the events in a Bible record when we have a good grasp of the time relationships...

The Book of Esther is very much a book about dated events. Esther 4:1 begins with a word pertaining to time: "When..." Then, in verse 16 Esther is proclaiming a three day fast...

Can those subtle time references be mapped and properly identified?

Could it be that the Book of Esther has a key role in perfecting our understanding of the Book of Daniel?

Let us always remember to 'be strong and be of good courage' when it comes to standing for our faith and our trust in the LORD our God who instituted the SABBATH from the beginning. HE is always there to fight and bring deliverance to us if only we stand.
