Certainly not. But, what exactly is your point of reference re what is right and what is wrong?

From my point of view, it is obvious that the objectives of the authors of the SDA Hymnal were quite different from the objectives of the powers behind Vatican II.

More importantly, the principle of Sola Scriptura has been prominent in the mindset of genuine Seventh-day Adventists. More so the closer they were to the roots of the Advent movement.

Not so with Vatican II and the Ecumenical movement that was engineered at that Vatican II council of 1963. No doubt you know that the platform of the Roman Catholic church was once and for all voted upon and decided in favor of "Tradition and the Bible," in that order. That is, for the authors of Roman Catholic designed songbooks, the principles of the Bible are, as a matter of Roman Catholic principle, overruled by church tradition, which is the same as to say that the principle well known from children's playing the game of whispering is the governing principle re what constitutes "the truth" of theirs from time to time. But isn't that the same as saying that gossip mongering and the Traducer, aka. Satan himself, is at the helm?

Why would I wish to saturate my mind with the subtle messages of error and deception that are designed and effectively built into any songbook of the Roman Catholic Church?

Do you see my point? And, does that make sense to you?

Shalom
