I have now studied your book somewhat more in depth… Thanks!

 

I feel very close to you in many respects. Most importantly I feel that you and I are sharing what I believe is a most important interest in, and appreciation of, things pertaining to an improved understanding of the exact timing of Scriptural events as dated in the Scriptures, and of ancient chronology generally! Also, very importantly, I do believe that you and I are sharing our appreciation of the eternal values inherent in the writings that have come to us through the pen of Ellen Gould White… This last item must never be forgotten, not even when and where some of us seem to find reasons for looking at her words from somewhat different perspectives! On a more personal level, I find it interesting too, not only that you were delivered less than two years prior to the time I was, but that you were delivered on the very same Julian/Gregorian date (day and month) as that of my own beloved mother…

 

 

Thanks once again for sharing Solex with me! For the record, I did find the download page for Solex at http://chemistry.unina.it/~alvitagl/solex/. Looks like a tremendous tool! Thanks! Thanks! Thanks! Although I haven’t yet figured out how to track solar eclipse shadows using Solex as done for instance on this web page (do a Ctrl+F for ‘Solex’!,) I imagine that sooner or later I may be able to figure that out too???

 

Looks like that Novo Concerto website is still very much in its infancy… I’m curious to see how your relatives will handle the bilingual problem with Spanish and English. I for one do not speak or read Spanish…

 

It truly warms my heart to see the interest and time you have invested into the study of these important matters of Scriptural timing and chronology! I have no doubt but that your work and your book will arouse the interest of others among our Seventh-day Adventist brethren as well, and as such I realize the tremendous value in your publication. No doubt that is especially so as your work is so much more in line with, and supportive of, traditional SDA beliefs than is mine…

It is obvious from your book that you had, already by the time your book was published several years ago, in 2004, already realized the inherent weakness in traditional beliefs and scholarship. Most especially in regards to committee efforts and “research,” for instance such as that which is being described in your Appendix on pages 194-197, that is, the section entitled MLA Collection. Along the same line I very much realize the inherent strengths in your realizations re the weaknesses re a number of important particulars within the works of a number of prominent thinkers and Bibles students who have gone before us on this path of learning. I am thinking of for instance that which you are writing re Horn, Lynn, and Neuffer, not to mention Froom and others…

 

Realizing how much I myself have grown and learned since 2004, I have no doubt but that you too have come a long ways along your learning curve since that time. I’ll be looking forwards to partaking of your next edition of your book!

 

 

Nevertheless, I believe there may be considerable value in addressing some of the key points in your 2004 publication. In fact, I myself have already found more than one valuable nugget of gold in my study of your book (cf. this link and this link,) and no doubt other students of you book will likewise be able to learn and to grow further in the direction of truth, as it really was, thanks to you and thanks to the book that you have already published several years ago. No doubt, once you come out with your next publication, some of your readership will be much better prepared for a giant leap towards much higher vistas of understanding than they would have had they not been prepared by the insights that they have acquired by means of studying your work…

 

Accordingly I hope you will appreciate and value my Comments re your book as I may publish on my website from time to time? I am sure that you too are able to look back upon your own path of learning and to learn and grow by analyzing and learning from past mistakes and from past areas of ignorance, or isn’t that so?

 

 

 

Now, realizing the futility of arguing a standpoint of yours belonging to several years past, I am looking forwards to having a much more direct dialog with you re your present stand, whatever it may be, and re problems and questions that you may currently be facing and wrestling with. So please do not find reasons for feeling in any way discouraged by anything that I may have written from time to time re any past statement of yours as found in your book as it was published in 2004!

 

Praise the Lord of Hosts for leading each of us one step at a time… as each of us is able to!

Thank you for being you and for doing what you do in the Lord’s vineyard!!! Thanks for your emails and for this initiative of yours!

I shall plan to study your book more in detail with an eye towards understanding the basic fundamentals upon which you are building, and then to correct my own thinking accordingly wherever I perceive an item of truth that I have not heretofore discovered. Depending on what I find, this could take considerable time and effort on my part, or, if I find some fundamental flaws, or what may appear to me as such, within your work, then I might relay those to you, for you to comment upon, before I go much further. Well, that’s in principle what I perceive right now re my study of your book.

As to some of the most fundamental errors that I’ve found within conventional historiography, and the corresponding corrections, you might wish to study this link and all relevant links there provided. I’d be very interested in any feedback from you re those particulars!... I’d suspect that there might be some treasures of truth for you to discover in that body of research of mine, and, at the outset, I suspect that’s the point of fundamental divergence between your research and mine. But at this point, that is only a guess on my part. As always I may find myself in error…

 

I’ll also be looking into your relatives’ website as per your suggestion.

 

You are probably finding my website considerably less well organized for the purposes of public presentation than is the book of yours. The reason for this is simply that I continually upload all my findings to my website while in the process of my own studies of the fundamentals. Until I find that I have a sufficiently stable product I do not find myself motivated to spend a great deal of time or effort towards organizing my publications merely for purposes of PR, nevertheless, from time to time I do try to extract the essentials to provide a better overview of important areas of my research for myself and my readership. Hopefully you’ll understand where I am coming from and appreciate that…?

 

My first impression of your book is that it is much closer to our traditional SDA understanding of NT chronology than is mine, but that in so doing you are still paying a great deal of attention to the fundamentals of the astronomical time keepers that our Creator has provided us with from the beginning of time. I’ll be very interesting to find out exactly how far your studies and mine find common ground and where exactly our paths might go in different directions… Naturally, at the outset, I’ll be predisposed to having a prejudice in favor of my own findings thus far, but I hope that this will not be making me blind to any important truths that are yet for me to be discovered within the body of your research thus far. Perhaps you will find yourself in a similar situation re your approach to my work?

 

Perhaps, if you haven’t done so already, you’ll be downloading pertinent parts of my website to your own PC such that you may access it also while being off the InterNet and off the grid? You might have noticed that it is possible to view and to download all of my uploaded files within any given directory of my adamoh.org site by simply omitting the file name of any path provided (except the root directories where my index.htm files etc. are placed) and such that the path simply ends with a forward slash, e.g. http://adamoh.org/TreeOfLife.lan.io/NTCh/ and http://adamoh.org/TreeOfLife.wan.io/OTCh/. By downloading my website onto your own PC, using the same tree structure as found on my site, you could thus set up an off-line copy of my website where most or all of my links would be functional. But perhaps that is beyond your time and interest at this time? I just thought I should mention it, just in case…

A thought came to me re your words “I will be on a farm…” I’m interested in the approximate location of said farm. Would it by any chance be located anywhere near Salvador in Brazil? If so, I’d be very interested in learning something re timing of the various harvest seasons pertinent to that location. Perhaps you would be kind enough to share any info you may have re such particulars with me? The reasons for that particular interest of mine may be found at this webpage of mine, in case you’d be interested in knowing…

Thanks for your reference to Solex 10.1! I’ll be looking into that… I did find the Italian chemistry site, but it seems to require registration in a way that is not publically accessible… Perhaps you’d have a more exact link to the downloadable astronomy program? Nevertheless, as likely you know already, thus far I’ve been using the very excellent Starry Night Backyard and Starry Night Pro Plus. Yet, there might be valuable feature in the Solex program that I do not previously have access to…

I would appreciate exchanging biblical information with you, but at present I will be on a farm where I have no access to the Web.

However, I have two relatives who are preparing a site by the name of www.novoconcerto.com.br in which bible studies relating to prophetic chronology will be

provided.

I have been very busy revising and expanding the Chronological Studies book, for publication overseas. I have delved into many chronological aspects involving

astronomy, calendars, tablets, Hebrew and Greek. I good astronomy program named "Solex 10.1" may be downloaded from an Italian site where the word chemistry appears.

If you are, I’d be interested in doing a dialog bible study between you and I. How about you? Would you be interested and prepared for doing that? That is, in the spirit of Ellen White’s teachings per her book Counsels on Sabbath School Work. It looks to me that perhaps you’ve already found my website?
