Beloved Brethren
and Sisters among the Heirs of God’s Kingdom,
Today, this Seventh Day Sabbath,
constitutes, to the best of my understanding, the first special annual date
with the Creator of Time, our God. The name of this special Feast is simply The
Eighth Day. Cf. Leviticus 23:36, 39!
Considering that The Eighth Day
Feast is subsequent to that feast, known as the Feast of Tabernacles and as the
Feast of Ingathering, which defines the Biblical end of the year (cf. Exodus
23:16; 34:22!) it really goes without saying that the Eighth Day Feast defines
the beginning of the Scripture year, but to emphasize that this day does indeed
constitute the beginning of the Scripture year this fact is also made part and
parcel of the name of this new year’s day, that is, the Eighth Day. As you
know, there are only seven days in a week. It follows that the eighth day of
the week can be none other than the First Day of the following week. Likewise
the Feast of the Eighth Day constitutes the beginning of that year which
follows the Scripture year which ends with the Feast of Ingathering. For more
details, please review my study under this

As I mentioned in my
last prior mail, three weeks ago, the Day of Trumpets serves as a first
announcement of the beginning of the upcoming Scripture Year. I mentioned that
the Day of Trumpets this last year coincided with that day which is claimed as
the very last day of the Maya calendar, that is, Friday October 28, 2011.
Accordingly, beginning with today, a most special Sabbath indeed, we have now
begun that Scripture year which is commonly known as “2012,” which reckoning,
however, finds its beginning with that man, Tiberius, who was adopted by Caesar
Augustus not only as his son, but as his successor on the throne of the Roman
Empire.
Considering the theme of today’s study, “From
Slaves to Heirs,” I do find one of those unlikely coincidences, called
synchronicities, in the fact that on this very Sabbath we are studying a
subject with such strong ties to our Roman Calendar reckoning, that is, to that
beginning which is constituted by the day when Caesar Augustus adopted Tiberius
as his son and successor, and who, by so doing, transformed Tiberius from being
a slave into being an heir.
What parallels and what lessons may
we perceive between those ancient events and our own relation to those powers
that we are choosing for ourselves from day to day? What do you perceive? What
do I perceive?
As you may know by now, I have come
to recognize ever more clearly that the State, that is, that Roman Empire and
that Roman Law (not excluding the US Statues) unto which most of us are still
subject, is an entity defining a government which is to serve as governors
under those that have claim to the real powers. But who are those that own the
real powers behind the curtains? Perhaps by reflex you’ll respond that that is
none other than God? However, perhaps, after considering that special Bible Study of today,
something more will come to mind? Or isn’t it true that the People of God, the
Heirs of God, We the People, are the rightful owners of the real powers? And
isn’t it true that that same People of God are being trained by and under a
certain trustee or governorship, that is, a “school master,” “tutor,”
“guardian,” or “disciplinarian” if you will, better known by terms such as the
State(s), the Government, the King, etc.? But where then is that People of God
which is not only of legal age (cf. the terms ‘act of law’ and
‘legalism!’) and which People no longer are subject to such tutorship or
‘paidagogos,’ but which People of God have also accepted and received all
that which is inherent in said Testament and inheritance, and who are heeding
God’s calling His People out of Babylon. That is, that People of God who are
now rightfully laying claim to the throne of God, that is, in contradistinction
to being an heir merely of that power which is inherent in serving as tutors of
the potential heirs of God that are being born from day to day?
I am thinking also of that which is
the real essence in Paul’s message to the Galatians and which I find quite
clearly expressed even in Galatians 1:1-2, that is, upon realizing that the
word ‘unto’ introduced into the KJV has no basis in the Greek Textus Receptus,
and which text seems to define the church of Galatia in terms of God (cf. the
terms ‘bride’ or ‘wife’ of God… and the family of God being One.) Cf. also Gen
1:27! Thus, as it seems to me, it is clear that Paul is very much reprimanding
the Galatians for having fallen back into a mindset of such as are slaves, or
children of, those servants of the People who are serving as tutors, but who
are not themselves claiming a position among the People of God who are being
taught and prepared for being the rightful children and heirs of God.
Perhaps this is the point for some
reflection re the extent unto which we, here and now in each our own churches
and congregations, remain in a mindset such as Paul is reprimanding the
Galatians for having… Unto what extent may we, here and now, be in a state of
mind such as is the result of having been “brought any other gospel… than that
which…” the Galatians had originally received from Paul? Cf. Gal 1:9! If thus
misled, is there any wonder we are having trouble making complete sense out of
Paul’s epistle to the Galatians?! That is, if we take for granted that our
mindset relative to the State is in harmony with Paul’s original teaching,
while in effect the opposite is true? Consider also Paul’s reference, per Gal
4;10, to certain “days, and months, and times, and years.” If we do understand
that Paul is here making reference to certain ungodly holydays, that is, such
days as Sunday as the Sabbath, such months and years as are being defined by
the Gregorian Calendar, and such times as Christmas, Easter, Halloween, etc.,
that is, in contrast to such Sabbaths and to such feasts and holy convocations
as are being defined forever by God for His own People per Leviticus 23… Well,
is it really strange that we find it difficult to fully grasp, accept, and
understand the point of Paul in his Epistle to the Galatians?
It’s only too easy to be blind to
one’s own state of mind, isn’t it?
. . . . .
Now, isn’t it a relief no longer to
have a reason for worrying about such things as what will happen at the time of
the end of the Mayan calendar?! At this point we have survived not only October
28, 2011, but also that date which per the Gregorian Calendar is written by the
numbers 11-11-11, perhaps adding also the exact hour, minute, and second, as in
11:11:11! Indeed we have not only survived the beginning of the Jewish calendar
year being associated with 2012, but, by now, also the beginning of the
corresponding new year of the Scripture’s own calendar reckoning! However…
Is now the time to relax and to
throw overboard our turning to our Creator and Savior in favor of our earlier
wicked traditions and habits, that is, all that wickedness for which Paul is
reprimanding the Galatians?
Or, do we continually find reason
for carefully listening for the still small voice of our Creator as He is
trying to call upon each our attention? Isn’t there ever more reason for
turning to the word of God, while carefully comparing those words to God’s own
creation, and to reality as it really was, is, and will be?! Perhaps by so
doing we will learn to better perceive each our own state of mind and each our
own state of being? Perhaps by so doing we will finally be able, by the power
of God alone, to correct things in each our own lives that needs correction and
improvement! And I am thinking not only in terms of such things as are commonly
associated with obtaining a more godly character, but more in terms of who is
each of us claiming as holding title to each our name, to each our body, and
unto each our life and beingness? For instance… How am I defining myself, and
how are you defining yourself, upon being asked to identify ourselves before
“the authorities” and “governments,” which, in a certain sense, as referenced
also by Paul in his epistle to the Galatians, are serving, in the hands of God,
as “tutors,” “disciplinarians,” or “school masters” of the children of God? Are
we allowing ourselves to be taught by those tutors such that in the end we end
up being members and citizens of the States of Satan’s kingdom, yes, even
tutors and guardians of the potential heirs of God, even of our very selves, or
are we rather learning to listen ever more intently to the still small voice of
God as He is teaching each of us and guiding each of us along the path upon
which Jesus, the Messiah, our prime example and pattern, is continually walking
before us? Are we learning to become children of Satan, that is, accusers of our
brethren, such as persecute and co-conspire towards the demise of each our
families, tempters of one another as well as of our selves, even such tempters
as Satan himself when in the desert for forty days he tempted Jesus? Or, are we
each getting to know ourselves better, who we were originally each designed by
our Creator to be? Are we willing to each commit ourselves and our wills into
His hands and into His service to the betterment of all, by means of His power
alone?
One thing that I am still considering,
and for which I am seeking God’s guidance, is that which is known as coded
messages of the Holy Scriptures as found in the original Hebrew language. Are
those coded words, and to what extent if so, intended by God as special
messages with many, albeit quite fragmented, details re each our lives as well
as re current events in the greater world? Or, are those finds merely the
figment of the fantasy of men while we are yet remaining unawares of all the
particular rules and mathematics making such coded finds possible? To what
degree is it possible and of essence for us to test for instance the reality of
a certain named comet, which per said Bible code, is understood as being
destined to annihilate the Earth at the time of Passover in the year 2012, that
is, on or about April 6, 2012? To what extent is this an example of our need of
having our minds cleansed out of our own thoughts, our own traditions, our own
teaching, and our own beingness and fears? And, if April 6, 2012 ends up
passing without much trace of anything of significance, will we then
continually be seeking for ever more to work towards the realization of God’s
Kingdom as did Yeshua, the Messiah, and John the Baptist? More details under this
link…
Next Biblical Feast is Purim, that
feast of gladness and sharing of gifts which was instituted in consequence of
the events recorded in the Book of Esther. That will be on the 14th
and on the 15th of the 12th Scripture months [beginning
at sunset Thursday April 5, 2012.] Please notice that that feast is concurrent
with that which is being referenced in my above paragraph! Please notice also
that, within the frame of said Bible code, there are indeed found Hebrew words
meaning “It will be crumbled. I will tear to pieces.” Those last words have
been interpreted in terms of referencing the destruction of the comet, but as
for me, I see no reason why those same words could not equally well apply to
the Earth which, per the same Bible code, is said to be destined for
annihilation at that time. The question remains, are any of those coded words
at all intended as messages of our Creator?
Be such things as they may, please
remember that just as for the Jews at the time of Esther, so also each our
ultimate safety is totally in the hands of our Maker, the Lord of Hosts!
Praised be His name, Yahweh Elohim!
May the peace of our Creator and
Savior rest over each our families and homes for ever,

[1] After having focused closely upon Scriptural chronology based upon the most original references and using the best tools available to me, I see little or no reason not to consider Scripture month #1, aviv (as used and applied in Biblical times,) as being based upon the aviv found on Mount Jerusalem, or perhaps more accurately, upon the current location of the Ark of the Covenant (while not upon the aviv found at hotter and lower altitudes, albeit within the boundaries of Israel, e.g. in the Jordan valley or in the Negev desert.)
